ImageWe live in Phoenix, Arizona, "the Valley of the Sun," and go to a dog park twice a week so our sweet dog, King Jazz, so he can be happy and healthy. He loves it at the dog park, playing with the other dogs, being petted by the other people. He is happy just to run and play. He is seven years old and has been with us since the moment of his birth, his mother; Mariah was our dog as well. We loved her so much for the time she was given to us before she was to go to the spirit world where she waits for her son, Jazz to join her one day. Mariah, King Jazz's mother, was a full-blooded Siberian Husky and mated with a small German Shepherd. Before he even had his eyes open, he barked at us, and we smiled and said, "Well, so it is you who chose to stay with us, okay, King Jazz!" He doesn’t get the exercise at home because of our physical limitations and we live in an apartment. We take him always the same day and same time to the dog park, so he knows he can depend on us to take him there. I also take him to run beside my handicap scooter for long walks that seem to make him very happy. One of the times we went with King Jazz to the dog park, we met Lucy. She changed all of our lives. In her eyes, I could see that she was in severe pain and this was confirmed by watching her walk, for she limped and favored one side a lot more than the other. I could feel the angel of death walking not far behind her. Lucy’s inner cries of pain called out to me, she desperately needed a miracle, or she was not going to be in this world much longer. I have been blessed to connect with animals. The why is has never puzzled me. I knew my mind, heart was open, and in that case, most anything is possible. We then walked around the park attempting with urgency to find the parents of Lucy. We began asking is this your dog? Is this your dog sir? At last, we found a yes to our pleading question. We thought perhaps they did not know her pain was as severe as it was or realized how close to death she was. Sometimes dogs do a great job of hiding their illnesses and their woes. The owner of Lucy said she was very old and did not think she would be with them very much longer. It was very clear to me that Lucy’s every step was taking her closer and closer to death. If something wasn’t done to help her, I didn’t see her living even one more day. I could feel her agony with every step; her eyes told me to help for her eyes begged me to help. Another thing was clear is that her family loved her very much. They were trying to become ready for her death and perhaps they were getting too ready for her to die. Their sadness was very clear. They needed hope or they needed to have helped to be ready for Lucy to enter the spirit world, so all were ready, all except Lucy. I thought well, she is 13 almost 14, she is old and this could be that it is what happens when animals bodies age heck, it can happen with human bodies too. Yet somehow, I could not see Lucy to stay in such grave pain and have her life end this way. I just could not accept this was it for Lucy; she has more lives to touch and change. We wondered silently if they might have given up too soon for Lucy to find serenity in this world and gave her to spirit world a bit before she was ready. Since Lucy did not cry aloud, it would be difficult for her persons to know the pain she felt with each step. I could easily understand that there was a miraclous love around Lucy and if anyone had a chance for a miracle, it would be her. We could see that her aging was understood and that understanding came with great sadness. It was not just Lucy’s heart needed to be uplifted and set free. All who loved her needed their sorrow to be healed as well. All elements were needed before Lucy’s healing could be complete. Today, Beverly (Lucy’s human parent) and our family have become great friends, this have enriched all of our lives. We see their friendship as a cherished treasure.I am a holistic individual I believed in many things including crystals, magnet therapy, aligning charkras and aromatherapy. I asked her, "Would you mind if I made an appointment with you so that I might be able to help Lucy at least feel better?" I said, being empathic, "I can tell you that she is in a lot of pain." I believed at the very least I could make her more comfortable. My heart reached out to this sweet dog and her family. I knew this was not to be a paid visit. Normally we have a small charge that covers gas, herb essential oils, and the base oils (mostly we use olive oil), vitamin E oil, and Aloe Vera Oil that we make and offer to others that they might benefit from its natural means to heal. Medicine without the side affects is the goal. When it is applied, the animal feels not only free from pain but also they feel loved through touch and massage. It gives the animal the sense of how much you love them. I have created oil for dogs and cats to help their pain from arthritis, yes from their aches and pains and since vets could be so expensive and hard for anyone to afford I make a first-aid package for all animals and I sell them so that everyone can afford them, for caring about your pet should not cost a small fortune like it seems to in each and every city in the United States. This is why I ask people to pay what their hearts tells them to and I trust God for the outcome. Never would an animal that needs a healing be refused treatment because of the ability to pay any money. I have always felt that healing is not for SALE. We know that we are on this healing journey, following our destiny and the animals are our primary concern. Animals rarely have a workweek and can afford to pay. (Said with a smile) What I have wanted most all in the great span of my life is merely to touch lives and to truly make a difference, for my name years later to mean something, and that way, perhaps, I would become timeless. Silly I guess, but oh so very true.. Money is simply just one of those necessary evils. However the call from Lucy really traveled to the core of my heart, I only knew I wanted to he involved in her healing and see her running and playing. This I knew would uplift not only my spirit, but the spirits of everyone around her. This happens at times and I know that the animal’s healing is merely waiting for the dog to embrace the miracle. On the normal range, animals accept healings quicker than humans do. They do not have any trouble in believing in you or themselves. It blessed our hearts to witness Lucy’s family feeling joyful and blessed. These delights and miracles that spark in front of us come with their own passions of due celebrations. Oh yes, it is these things that are not capable of measuring by any means. The time spent with Lucy and her family was one of the greater gifts that have blessed us beyond what words could ever convey, in any language. These great gifts could never be measured. We are grateful for the treasured gifts that have been generously given to our hearts. As women, we want to be nurturing and make these challenges of life easier and feel better. We want to uplift and to comfort; it partly comes from our womanhood. I had a wonderful session with Lucy. With my Canine Caring Oil, we gave her a deep massage and one of the members of Lucy’s family helped us with this process. We held a chain with a large amethyst crystal over her, and said powerful affirmations around her and asked Lucy to feel and accept all the love that now surrounded her, for it was a special gift just for her, and for her alone. The crystal began to swing with its energy. We held that stone there until it rested still once again. She accepted the session of healing and the attention with ease. We hugged her gently and asked that they tell us how she is doing and we would be back in several days to see if Lucy needed any more treatments. I listen to what animals say by becoming very quiet on the inside. When I am silent on the inside totally in silence, I can hear their hearts speak to me and they tell me what hurts them. Never has this gift failed me in the past. I sat and looked at Lucy’s person and told her that when Lucy needs us, we will come right over and give her another treatment of love. We went home.Lucy like all other dogs loves the park and she is focused on walking the whole park, which is 2.5 acres of land. She walks clear around that huge park with much determination, it takes her quite a long time, however she remains focused, and she reminds me of the child story of the turtle and the rabbit. Lucy is the turtle, slow and persistent and she wins the race! A good part of Lucy’s challenges and difficulties was that she was just depressed from the aging process. Lucy, we were told, woke up and was playful which did not often happen, she actually became bouncy at nearly 13 years old, this was much more than any of us could have ever hoped, all of us celebrated her newfound liberty. In addition, we were all grateful that her healing had become dramatic and a noticeable change.Later, at our next visit at the dog park, we saw them again. They all said she was so much better and the excited tone in their voices told me they noticed a change in Lucy. She did not just lie around, she had been more active. I said I would like to have a couple more sessions with Lucy and right there we made an appointment for the next week. I wanted the sessions to be a week apart so the healing of that session had time to cause any change it needed before the next session to happen. My eyes witnessed more change than just in Lucy. I saw an excitement, happiness that she was being more active.. This is true healing, when it touched more than one person or one area, a healing will touch and affect us all. The reality of Lucy’s age was not going to make her body young or reverse its process, but the improved quality of her life was what we wanted to see come alive in her. Everyone everywhere adored Lucy. She seemed even to other dogs, wherever she went, to be the ultimate mother. All humanity and animals adored her. For when someone you love is ill, all those around them suffer even at a greater degree. Their suffering loved one tugs at their heart each day and the grief for everyone grows without ceasing. No one ever promised that love was easy. Search for a different way to think, or perhaps at the very least an alternative veiw of perception away from the "poor me" mode, If this is the case; this might be a poem you will want to read. It has been about a year since Lucy came into our hearts and lives. She is still doing going and blessing everyone she knows, she is still walking around the park. My family has become close to Beverly’s family and her three four-legged children with our four-legged children (one dog and two cats); my life has certainly been touched and blessed because of them. That is why I wanted to share this with you. What every animal person finds are that all the creatures we greatly value in our hearts and call our children without a moment of hesitation; love us without condition or cause. They just love you for you, and who isn’t blessed by that? Whether it is aromatherapy, herb medicine, magnet therapy, crystals, or prayers, all I have ever wanted is to make a true difference in the lives of others, still today that truth rings through my world.
