Based on allegedly true events...
The year was 1943, and the U.S. was fighting Axis powers of World War II. Many groundbreaking findings and technological advancements came about from the war, but that of the Philadelphia Experiment were considered too...unfathomable to hold any truth. All the main sources, Navy, military, and government, along with a majority of those serving in the Navy. Still, there are those who swear to it that the events actually occurred, and that the government had a major cover-up going on.
“There was a Doctor Franklin Rinehart who conducted the experiment. He said that he could take a ship, and make it radar invisible. The U.S.S Eldridge was selected. I was there. It was July 22nd, 1943, and we had the ship set up with a bunch of equipment, trying to make the ship radar invisible. We fired up the stuff and it just vanished. The ship was completely invisible, but we saw a greenish haze around were it was, and a few crew members looked as if they were levitating, when in fact they were standing on top of the invisible ship. I could tell it was an accident waiting to happen, and I begged some higher-ups not to continue on with the experiment. A majority of them denied my request, but one of them told me they'll do one more experiment, and if it doesn't work, they'll cancel it.”

I also read about it in a book, called The Magic of Our Universe. » Reply to this comment... ![]() 10-08-2007 12:09, nice storie.... » Reply to this comment... ![]() 10-14-2007 18:42, good story :grin » Reply to this comment... ![]() 10-16-2007 10:55, I did look this up, by the way. Some say, the submarine was actually able to teleport from one location to another, TWICE. From the Philadelphia port to 20 minutes into the ocean, and then from this location back to the port. Teleportation wasn't planned; they were trying to bend light somehow to become invisible to the naked eye. And as my friend Quintin here noted, most of the surviving crew suffered of terrible mental defects, some were found WELDED into the metal inside the sub... others were never heard from again. ... they're probably soaring through the time and space continuum at this very moment. heh... no, they'd probably die when they're head explodes because of the immense pressure. This was very interesting to learn about Quintin. Thanks. » Reply to this comment... ![]() 12-30-2007 20:16, awesome story....i wish i had more to say but it dose its own job » Reply to this comment... |
