As long as you're beside me

Blood courses through my veins

As long as you're my shadow

Life's light finds its way.

As long as you're my sense

I do not follow, blind

As long as you love me

I never leave my heart behind.

As long as you are near me

I cannot walk alone

As long as you are living

I will follow the road home.

Road Home

A very simple uncomplicated love poem can be the hardest work in the world.

Just a little bit twee, but a damn good stab anyway.

Kind regards

I liked it. it was a good love poem.

I'd be shocked if this were another chaabuk poem because she couldnt possibly write something this good.

the road home

the poem was a nice sweet ride down the road and an easy read. as i read it, i was looking for the big bang - you know, that line with a huge impact...

good writing regardless!

very short but still got its point across anyway....when you have someone to love how could you possibly hurt.....that's what i think anyway. but very good poem.
