The night was no different than any other dark or murky night, until the unanticipated convulsion of a seizure revolutionized the life of sleeping Vincent Worrom. He vibrated and fluctuated all over the bed viciously awaking his spouse Shelly to a vigorous consciousness. She swiftly grabbed the phone to call 911, at the same time she watched in horror as her husband eyes rolled to the back of his head showing only his veined sclera where his cocoa brown pupils usually would be.

 She yelled at the operator "my husband is having a seizure please get someone here now. Please hurry"

 After the 911 operator assured her the rescue was on the way she ran back to her husband side to only see him suddenly come to brisk consciousness as if nothing had happen.

She then asked "Vincent are you okay" he looked in her shocked face and responded "honey I'm fine but what's wrong with you". She explained what just happened to him.

 He then began to explain to his wife that he had a really intense dream in which he had spoke and received a gift from God that would save mankind from the Apocalypse that would descend from above.

 Shelly gave him a perplexed look and then asked "are you sure you're okay, because talking like that makes me really think we should get you to the doctor". The ambulance arrived outside Vincent then replied "to have you at ease I'll go to the hospital but to be honest I feel better than I ever felt before".

 The ambulance took him to the hospital where the doctors ran test but found nothing wrong. In fact the doctors found him to be in unbelievable health and shape. This came as a shock because Vincent had just been told less than a month ago he was in the worst health he could be in for a thirty three year old. The doctors let him go home but asked Shelly just to watch over him through the night.

  As the two rode home Vincent began to tell his wife more of his dream "along with this gift God told me he would send a messenger to help me learn how to fully use and understand this gift" Shelly had enough "that's it Vincent just stop it with this talking to God mess okay".

  The two said no more until they reached home where they saw a mysterious person dressed in all white finished with a blue tie standing at their front door. At this point the two were very curious about the stranger. They pulled in the driveway and noticed the headlights had a funny reflection off the stranger. The couple walked to the front door with utmost caution.

The stranger spoke "please don't be afraid for I am the messenger and I'm pretty sure you already know what I'm here for Vincent". Shelly then turned to Vincent in disbelief and strife, then pulled him aside to talk "if this is a joke it's went far enough".

    Vincent then grabbed her hands stared her in the eyes with no words. It was as she had received all the words and knowledge she needed by his expression alone.

Vincent then kissed his wife and said, "I must go with him but I will return to you I promise".

  Vincent then turned to the messenger nodded and they began to walk away. As they walked away Shelly began to cry but before a tear dropped from her hazel eyes the two had vanished. The messenger had taken Vincent through a wormhole of some sort to an abandoned location.

  The messenger began to speak "that was a wormhole which is how we messengers travel but don't worry about that right now because there is lots to learn and we have such a short time to learn it in". Vincent now watched the messenger walked in circles around him. The messenger then continues, "Let's get right to the lessons which I'm going to teach quick and sweet".

 The messenger began to teach and show Vincent everything he knew on the gift. The two-trained non-stop for hours and Vincent absorbed everything the messenger offered, for the gift enhanced Vincent's entire being so he was able to learn things much faster. From fighting styles to being able to slow time the messenger taught Vincent all he knew until they both stopped and looked at the skies that were brightened by what seemed to be a shooting star approaching earth.

 The messenger told Vincent "it is time" Vincent replied, "I know I already had sensed it coming". Vincent then turned to the messenger and asked, "Why was I chosen for this gift". The messenger answered "It was prophesized that when the apocalypse was upon mankind the gift would be given to the descendant of God's only child mother and that is what you are". Vincent then turned and began to walk towards the star. The messenger continued, "Be careful Vincent the gift strengthens you but you are not invincible". Vincent responded "I will" and with that said Vincent created a wormhole with a wave of his hand.

 The messenger seemed shocked by this but Vincent did not notice. Vincent was no longer the same man, he was something more and the messenger sensed it. Vincent vanished within the wormhole and the messenger vanished within his own wormhole. Vincent exited the wormhole in what seemed to be a farm area. He was right under the falling star, which hurdled right for him. It got closer, closer and just as it seemed to smash into Vincent the star stopped in mid air. The star then began to unfold from its sphere form and started to shape into a reptilian form. It stood 10ft tall with skin of tar but with leopard spots, along with claws long as a grizzle bear, and lastly a long tail with a sharp dagger end. The beast let a mighty growl out but Vincent stood unfazed.

 Vincent locked into the beast's fierce eyes until he received a telepathic message that said "You can't stop the ending of mankind, so either surrender your life like a good boy to receive a quick painless death. Or be foolish and fight to receive a long tormenting one. In the end I always win."

 The beast already knew the choice made by Vincent and decided to charge. Before Vincent could react the beast had stroke him in the chest and as he fell backward the beast caught him in midair by the throat. And as the beast's razor sharp claws sunk into Vincent neck the tar substance from the beast's skin also burned his body. In pain he quickly maneuvered kicking the beast off of him.

 The beast sent another message "is that all you have because I'm just playing with you right now".

  Vincent throat was now gushed with blood but with the gift his body healed faster than normal. The beast then charged again but this time Vincent was able to react in which he slowed his environment including the beast's movement and maneuvered behind the beast grabbed its tail then smashed the beast into the ground with unbelievable force creating a crater trembling the entire earth. Vincent ran to the edge of the crater, which was the size of a football field ready for the beast to charge out when instead a fireball blazed out. Vincent jumped back only to have the beast exited from out of the ground behind him Vincent tried to slow time again to escape the grasp of the beast but was not quick enough. The beast grabbed his leg and swung him right through a nearby plow tractor. Vincent injured by this stumbled to his feet. In a flash the beast swooped with him up into its boiling tar arms.

  "Enough of this" was the beast message as he sunk razor teeth into Vincent's shoulder that caused tremendous pain.

 Vincent veins began to flood his eyes given off a redness look; he then let a mighty roar of pain out. The power of the roar created an aura of energy, which shot from his body and sent the beast into the barn creating another huge crater. Vincent landed in the small crater that the energy blast created. His wounds started to heal but still caused him great pain. The beast in anger let its own roar out that made the ground tremble. This caused an explosion of energy that widened the crater.

  "This can't be possible you're nothing to me" the beast message as he stumbled out through the blazing debris of the barn. It then flew straight up out of the crater and stared at Vincent who was still recovering. "I will destroy mankind just as I have destroyed many other weak species before them" another message as the beast began to fly in the opposite direction of Vincent to a more populated area, which was the city.

Vincent instantly knew what the beast was planning to do. He then made a wormhole to get in front of the beast, only to have the beast pass him at every try. The beast speed was so incredible trees were unplugged from the ground, and as he got closer to the city he let off many fireballs that destroyed everything in site. As Vincent watched in anger his eyes once again became red. He then slowed time before he entered the wormhole, which put him in front of the beast again. This time the beast speed was slowed so he jumped from the ground into the air with a fierce punch that knocked the beast out of the air as well as detached the beast's bottom jaw from his face. The beast then plunged into the street and Vincent landed right on top of beast, which dug the bleeding beast deeper into the concrete. The same aura began to glow from Vincent again but this time the glow was in his hands. Before this energy let off the tail of the beast knifed right through Vincent's chest dimming the glow. The beast then tossed Vincent through a restaurant's window where people stared in fear of the beast.

  The beast stood up slowly in a wobbly form bleeding on it self "in the end I always win always". The beast started to shake and his eyes started to glow with fire. Vincent rose up slowly and sensed the beast was about to explode.

The beast then stared at Vincent "What you're still alive, well no one will live after I'm through".

  Vincent then slowed time and entered a wormhole to get closer to the beast but he was stopped short at the beast's surrounding energy field. The beast aura of energy began to grow brighter and brighter until you could hardly lay eyes on the beast. Vincent looked around and saw all the people in fear when once again his eyes turned red and his aura began to glow as well, until just as the beast was about to let his explosion off. Vincent slowed time and hit the beast with a great blast of energy. This broke the concentration of the beast and let down the field. Vincent then opened a wormhole behind the beast pulled the beast's tail in the hole, disconnecting it. Exited from another wormhole right on top of the beast, and wrapped the tail around it's neck until lastly he stabbed the dagger end of the tail right into its mouth straight through the skull which killed the beast dead. Vincent had done it; he had killed the beast and stopped the apocalypse of mankind. He then fell backwards and sat down on the broken concrete. Vincent relaxed and looked around to see families hugged up, which instantly made him think of his wife. So he opened a wormhole right to his living room where his wife stood in front of the television, she had seen the whole battle.

"Honey" he called to Shelly who turned in a flash and ran into his arms.

The two embraced each other with much love but soon was interrupted by the messenger who now was in the living room.

  "You did well Vincent real well, but there lies the new problem" the messenger said.

   Vincent and his wife look puzzled "What problem" Vincent asked. 

 The messenger started to glow until an energy wave hit the two. Shelly hit the wall and Vincent went right through the front door onto the porch. The messenger spoke "You see the plan was for you to destroy the beast and afterward become our slave doing as we say".  

  He then hits Vincent with another wave of energy as he spoke "but then something happened, instead of losing power as you fought you kept gaining power, I guess I should've known when you made that wormhole and I didn't even teach you how to create a wormhole. I mean you weren't supposed to have enough energy to create a wormhole". Vincent staggered to his feet and spoke "this gift of power was from God given to stop the apocalypse". The messenger continued "No you believed it was a gift from God" the messenger smiled "That gift along with the dream was given to you by us and by us I mean my race the Delians which come from the planet Dell. We now think the gift has made you a threat to our power. So now you will die and your species will be enslaved to serve us for eternity".

The messenger created a huge wave of energy that trembled the entire city then he sent it at Vincent. Vincent in anger of what he had heard eyes went red once again. And as this unbelievable wave was upon Vincent he slowed time again but this time it was as he had almost brought time to a stop. Vincent then opened a wormhole limped in it and let the wave follow him until both he and the wave were exited of the wormhole behind the messenger. Vincent then moved out of the way and let the huge wave incinerate the messenger, which as it did revealed the true alien form of him. After this Vincent then walked inside to his unconscious wife sat on the floor and put her in his lap. As he did this he began to sense something far away approaching and it had the same energy of the messenger. He sensed millions of the messengers approaching. He also sensed millions of the beast's energy approaching also. It seemed both the beast and the messenger had sent messages back to their home planet they would need help.

Vincent then heard the reporter on the television reporting "the skies are bright with millions of stars which cover the whole earth. A half of the stars tend to be blue while the other half is a burning orange, could this be a sign of the apocalypse".

  Vincent looked down at his wife and began to hold her close until tears fell down his face. His body started to transit in motion and he quake the complete house. His eyes filled with blood and a gleam of aura within his bosom emerged brighter than the sun until subsequently it projected out with a mighty roar. This roar of virility became a gigantic wave of energy that covered the entire earth and ascent up to space passing right through the stars that now surrounded the earth. This majestic wave did not destroy a single star, but instead stilled the world.

 Vincent commenced to converse "I am not God and I am not the descendent of God's only child mother. I am God's child; we are all God's children so this gift is not only for me but it is for all God's children. Now I give the gift that I received from God's will.

 Vincent stopped and looked up through the now roofless house to the luminous sky with bloody eyes. A tear of blood ran down his cheek and dropped on his wife's body, which now along with all other humans moved in the same seizure manner, he did when he received the gift.

   Vincent than finished, "Let this not be a revelation of mankind, but a new awakening for the human race".
