Shattered and empty

Lost and alone

Memories gone blank

Hopes lost and torn

Bleak days lie ahead

No hope to be found

No happiness left

No smiles left to smile

The sun doesn't shine

No ‘silver lining' around

Just bruised and deserted

And thrown on the ground

Everything feels foreign

Nothing's the same

Sometimes that's how it ends

When life plays its games

Is this the point of view of the Ginger Bread Man? No, that the buttons! Not my gumdrop buttons! Hehe, Shrek is the kid's movie I like. and Nightmare Before Christmas (if ya cant tell from my pic)

Life doesnt always suck. Because it is so easy to put a :) instead of a :(

if that makes any sense at all.

Great poem you have here.

I have a question, though.

Do you know where the Muffin Man lives?

This flowed very nicely. Very sad and depressing but I really enjoyed it. I think most people will be able to connect with this as most people have felt they had nothing working right for them. A very good poem.

When I say sick.

Do you think i'm ill.

When I say fantastic.

Will you say I pop pills.

When I say this poem got me thrilled.

Will you say I am un fulfilled.

If you don't know what I mean. I am saying this poem was "tight" um I mean. This was good.

Hmm,

I didn’t hate it, and that’s a first for some poetry.

Do you show this stuff to your church group? What would the children think amy? But yeah let me stumble on the bandwagon. Good poem with a depressing theme. Hooray!

Oh so true. Life does have its' many games. I quit playing after losing all the time. I hate to lose, wait, this could be another game. A game about quitting.

Anyway, good job.
