Butterflies and dragonflies dancing above

green grass poking gently in my shoulders below

The lavender sky with its slight puffs of white

Enticing the birds to take flight.

The stream down below is calling to me

With its glittering points of light on its rapids

Calling to caress my toes with its waters

With the coolness and pull of the current within.

My thoughts are not trapped here; I'm able to ponder

Opportunities here are eternal and endless

While I relax and unwind, from the pressures of my mind

Smiling up to the sky and feeling just fine.

Nice poem

Thought this was really good, and the different colors gave it a cheerful feel. But you might wanna be careful smiling looking up to the sky, Might be cussing next just as quick when that bird flys over head.

Beautiful, light, refreshing, airy, peaceful. It's like one of those things that you are supposed to concentrate on when doing those relaxation exercises. This is one of those poems that belongs on an inspirational calendar.
