It wasn't her that lost faith, 'twas I.

Love she did, and in pain her face shone like a magnificent geM.

O'er mountains she seemed to glide, yet, where was I?

Vexed and confused, my belief shattered like broken glasS.

Enveloped by darkness, her God, somehow, I could not dismisS.

Yonder dismal abyss was my abode, while on the blessed Way she would faithfully staY.

O God, you took her to your holy bosom, but LO,

Unto You be the glory, for as I looked inside her bureaU,

My astonished eyes beheld an answered prayer to a son penned by a dying moM.

Onto my knees, therefore, did I immediately gO,

Making me to realize, that I can praise her God in any storM!

Loved this! This was very unique and you did a GREAT job finding words that actually fit in with what you were saying rather than just finding words that started or ended with whatever letter you needed. wonderful!

Interesting

This was interesting the way you had the sides. What was the one word suppose to be? Oh God, you took her to your holy bosom, but ?...anyway, good job.

Okay, I changed the lo to LO for better understanding. The word can seem unclear, but at first I thought the two capital letters would throw off the others. However, the bold letters seem to keep the message. "LO" The American Heritage Dictionary defines this terms as-Used to attract attention to to show surprise.

On a personal note, the events of this poem are actual events. This month was the two year mark which inspired me to write these words. Cancer really is, no joke.

Good poem.

I just lost a brother-in-law to Mesothelioma. He had two young kids.

Here's hoping for a cure in the near future.

Pilgrim, this is beautiful. I am really impressed by this poem from a technical viewpoint, and really touched personally. My uncle died from Bowel cancer, I really dont think its possibe to describe how devestating it can be. Well done man, well done

To those who have had a love one die from cancer, it's never a pretty sight. I watched my mom wither away from brain cancer for two months, lying helpless on her bed. How could she keep smiling? How could she be thankful? I'll never truly understand unless I'm lying on that bed, yet, sometimes I am.

Oh how beautiful and poignant. I loved how you had the I Love You Mom on one side and the I Miss You Mom on the other. Makes it harder to find things that fit, but you did a great job.
