He said that he wanted her But did he?...

I Will Lay In Vain

I Will Lay In Vain The sun...

The beauty of the land is around us.
From the glimmering falls to the mid-night showers

The sound of the wind as it flows through trees.
To humming of birds and buzzing of bees

The shimmer and shine of a mid-day climb.
To the cool afternoon use to unwind

The beauty of earth is never passing.

Forever staying.

Everlasting......

Good poem, and I was in the mood for it as it's sunny and breezy here. Good job!

Why is this story getting so many bad ratings? Surely, the new people on this site are corrupt.

This poem should not have the rating it does. But to let you know, mid-night and mid-day are not hyphenated words... but im no English major,,well maybe I am. Gave it a five because I just tore your last poem I read to shreads.

i liked where you went with this. it's just i felt as though maybe you could have expanded this more into a bigger poem, but that's just my opinion. overall it's good like it is as well.
