I don't usually find myself caring for things like this
but, oh, your face when you're dreaming your dreams
hmm, it's an unspoiled rose of innocence
and your laugh when drinking it's so alive
makes me feel as young as I used to want to be
and the look in your eyes when you see joy
makes me, makes me wish I could be that happy

You're naive and you think the world is a good place
and I know different, believe me I do
but somehow I want you to never find out the truths
that turned me and every other bright soul into a       sick cynic

You smile at something in your dreams and it
makes me want to smile as well; like a sap
And you know I decided once long ago
to never regret anything and care for nothing
if only I could see the world that you see
you've really given me something to regret
but, oh my sweet dear, I'll forgive you.

Very unique poem. I liked how you wrote the whole thing as one entire sentence, but was yet able to make it understandable. Good job!

I know it is a certain style of poetry, one which I really don't like, specifically, that poetry which hardly uses puncuation, however, sometimes, like this time, it turns out pretty good.
