"I will not let you do this to me!" you scream at him. He takes it like a man. You want to slap him, but that would only make matters worse. So you cross your arms and pace instead. "Come on-" "No. Don't even try!" Your voice shakes a little. He catches it. "You're scared." He laughs at you. You turn around so he won't see the curse you throw at him. "Grow up, for once. And forget about it. And me." With a shock filled face you twist around to face him. "Forget about you?" You laugh mockingly at him. "I will never, ever forget about you. You know that." You know he takes it to heart, but of course he won't show it.

He sighs. "You're making this much harder than it should be." You desperately try and think of something intelligent to say. You end up throwing your hands up in frustrated. "I wish I could just give up on you," you say, but immediately know it's the wrong thing. "Yes! I wish you would, too. Sometimes, I wish we had never happened, exactly for this reason." The words reopen the first wound he had ever given you. You stare at him in disbelief. You never though he could be so uncaring. You really thought that you could have melted his ice cold heart. But you were wrong.

"I wish you'd take that back." Your life was full of wishes that never came true, except for him.... "I wish life could be like it used to. I wish you could go back to the way you were. I wish we could be what is normal!" The words fly from your mouth without you really realizing what you are saying. "'I wish, I wish, I wish...'. Is that all you can say?" You defiantly shake your head. "I want you." He hesitates, and you know you finally caught him. You continue. "I want you. I love you. I want you to stay with me." "No! I will not stay, especially if it is with you." Your wound bleeds, and it is so painful.

"I hate you," you whisper, just loud enough for him to hear. Then you sink to floor in defeat. You wrap your arms around your knees and duck your head. You hear his footsteps coming closer. Go away! you want to yell at him. You can feel him kneeling beside you. He touches your cheek gently, slowly turning your head to his. Your lips meet in a wanting kiss. But, too soon, it is over. "I wish it didn't have to end like this." And then, he was gone.

good conflict

Liked the story, I felt it needed more emotion between the two distraught lovers, and your choice of formats was different from the norm.

Good conflict.

You managed to make the characters seem very believable, but its gets a bit confusing as to who's talking when there isn't a new paragraph for each new speaker.

Thanks

Thanks for the comments. I forgot to format properly before I posted it, but I feel the same way.

I thought this was great. there was a lot of emotion pouring out of every line. I agree about the formatting though, it did make it hard to know who was talking, but you already addressed that :] Also, there were a few times that it seemed to stop and start. maybe just fixing a few sentences would fix that. keep posting :]

SAD!

You should reformat the story, if I were you. It is extremely confusing to follow who's who. Whatever I could make of it is sad. He left her. What else did she expect.

Oka formating. But I dont think it took nothing away from the story. You told the argumant well, flowed really well. And you have proved that women always start the rows.:)
