It was a very cold night, but the middle of summer. The temperature reflecting the amount of light: none. The room was completely dark, and the air was full of apprehension. Alice was half-awake, or half-asleep, as she liked it. She was alone in the house, and for a moment in her life, she didn't have anything to worry about. Once the clock had turned to Ten PM, she could go to sleep, and she could dream about a better life.
Around the house, it was peaceful; everything seemed to be asleep, even the nocturnal animals. Up above, in the sky, billions, or maybe even trillions of stars shone down. Some stars seemed to disappear as if something had passed in front of them. Then, most of the night sky disappeared as a large object started to land.
The clock turned to one. Alice was now completely unconscious, unaware of anything occurring around her. A flash blinked across the windows, and then the room was fully lit, as if morning had come, but the windows looked as if they were emitting light. Dark silhouettes appeared at the windows, and seemed to move right through them into the bed room, two on each side of Alice. Humanoid creatures now stood there, their heads large and bald, their eyes black and slanted, and their skin a pale grayish-green. At this point, her eyes had clicked opened, but she was completely paralyzed aside from her eyes. They raised there arms, lifting her up and floating her out of the room to an awaiting space craft, silver in appearance.
Alice put all her concentration in screaming, crying, anything to attract attention, but she realized that there was nothing she could do, and she was at the will of the extra-terrestrials. A beam of light blinded her, and she felt herself being pulled upward, and then she saw the interior of the space craft. Fear enveloped the poor woman. Cold steel met her naked back and restraints locked around her wrists and ankles. The paralysis was gone, Alice struggled to free herself. She was effectively trapped. Suddenly, a being pushed the table she was on into another room.
Light flooded her field of vision. Doors swooshed opened and beings dressed in black body suits looked down upon her. As much as she wanted to scream, she still could not, even though she could move. Maybe they had something to do with it. Chattering commenced between two aliens, the dialect impossible to describe. One of them bent down and whispered in her ear, “Do not fear. It will only make it worse.” Whirring reached her ears, a machine rotated above her, a large needle at the end of it. Alice finally felt a cold tear roll down her cheek, which was quickly joined by sweat. “What is this?” she managed to cough out. “Pregnancy test.” replied the alien doctor, as she thought of him. The needle began to drop down towards her.
The needle pierced her naval, with that she screamed out in pain, quite possibly the worst pain in her entire life. It felt as if she was being injected with some liquid. Alice felt as if every cavity in her body was being filled. The screaming subsided as she ran out of breath. Before she could scream again, the alien doctor flashed his hand across her face. Amazingly, all the pain had dissipated.
She felt the needle slowly remove itself from her, and then she felt all the pressure inside her let loose. Alice tried raising her head. What she saw was another alien doctor raising a metallic probe. Her head slapped down on the cold hard metal as it penetrated her. Pain splashed across her entire body, as a whirring noise reached her ears. The restraints barely kept her down. Vision fading in and out, she felt like she was about to faint. Then an euphoric feeling came to her, almost like an epiphany. Alice felt a closeness with God, an inexplicable, ineffable closeness. The probe was removed.
Wires were hooked up to her brain, and she could feel them entering her mind, looking at every memory, thought, idea, and belief. Alice's eyes rolled back, as false information and memories were implanted into her subconsciousness. Hair from the top of her head was removed and scanned through a laser like device, after which it burned away. They cut away part of her fingernails and skin, also having these scanned. Alice then started coming back. She looked up at the alien doctors face. He said, “Come with me.” The examination table suddenly lurched forward, and she was upright. The restraints removed themselves from her.
The Grey took her hand and led her to a machine that looked like a tanning booth. He instructed her to lie down. Alice was worried. What would they do next to her? She felt completely violated, she felt dirty. She could see burn marks around her legs, blood covered her right forearm. A laser passed up and down her whole body. It felt heavenly as it seemed to heal her, inside and out. Gas spewed out once the process was complete, and Alice was able to get up again.
“I need proof.” she thought. “And that you shall get.” A voice, although not human, answered back. Alice was handed what looked like a book, filled with runes and symbols that were last known to man when the Greys last visited, in 3000 BC. She blinked.
The ceiling, her bedroom ceiling. Birds chirping, wind blowing...a lawn mower. It was morning. The bedside clock read noon. “A dream. No, a nightmare.” As Alice started to get out of bed, she felt something heavy slide off her and hit the floor. A large book fell to the floor. She picked it up. Scanning it, it was quite easy to tell that it wasn't English...
