The petals were falling

the leaves went dark black

why did the flower die?

what was the one thing it needed but lacked?

It wasn't just water or sun

it needed care and love

Just like I need today

Let's take care of each other

And grow flowers together

let's take care of them and ourselves

we can make the world a better place

have smiles on our face

I'll take care of you, you take care of me

that's the way it really should be

Am I good or terrible?

Are you guys starting to like my poems? I want to know if I'm better at writing poems then stories and I think I'm. But I want the audience's opinion. If you like my poems, tell me please. If not, tell me what's wrong so I can work on it cause I think I want to be a poet.

i haven't read your other works but i enjoyed this one. i liked the ray of hope that was evident in this piece. in my opinion asking for advice is fine, but if you really want to be a poet, then be one. it doesn't matter what anyone else says. you do what you wish.

I

liked it. Not saying if you're good or terrible, but I think you're off to a good start.

You write such inspirational poems, I love them for their nuances. Here one is being exhorted to be helpful towards one another. The message being, we co-exist. Enjoyed it.

This was okay.

You kept a fairly positive and upbeat tempo.

I don't know about the black leaves as an imagery, maybe withered, but not black.

Anyway, good job.
