Once upon a Day I was walking down a street.  I came upon a house that looked totally abandoned, so I decided to go in.

I went up to the door and knocked; when the door fell down after the third knock I decided that it was safe.

So I walked into the house.  It didn't seem like a very big house.  Then I found the basement.  The basement was huge.

As I walked around the rooms I discovered that most of the basement was bellow ground but some was above it.

I reached a glass door looking out into a back yard.  In front of the glass door, on the inside of the house, was a cat.  It was a grey cat.

The cat was watching a squirrel; who was returning the cat's glare with a blank stare.

I decided to open the door for the cat.  But, to my surprise, instead of the cat going outside to chase the squirrel, the squirrel rushed in and fought with the cat.

I knew that I had to do something.  So I picked up the cat and ran.

Eventually I found my way to the stairwell where I noticed that the cat was purring.  I looked down but, instead of a cat, I had a squirrel.  The squirrel was purring!

So I decided to take the squirrel back outside.  I tried to find my way back to the glass door, but it was a big house and I couldn't find it.  Eventually the squirrel jumped down out of my hands and ran off; I was left to search all by myself.

An old lady came out of a room.  She had huge eyes.

"You scared me," I said as I jumped nine feet in the air and hit my head on the ceiling.

"I'm sorry," she replied.  "I was just wondering were my squirrel went.  If he's not outside the cat gets quite upset."

Remembering my manners, which had probably run out of my head when I bumped it and just now returned, I introduced myself.  "I'm Sue."

"Oh, I'm sorry, I quite forgot, I'm Granola.  It was very nice to meet you but I really must find my squirrel and cat so I can get them back in their proper spots."

She rushed off to do those things.

As I continued to explore I found a window going out into a garden.  The garden appeared to be a maze of bushes.  I decided to climb out and see where it led.

I was trying to find my why out of the maze when I found a dead end with a love seat and a man sitting in it.

"Have you seen my lover?" he asked me.

"I don't think so.  Who is she?" I said.

"She is my lover."  The man looked shocked that I would ask such a question.  "She told me that she would return three days after never."

I turned away and walked on.  This man was obviously unstable.

I wandered around in the maze for hours.  It was quite entertaining.  Nothing interesting happened.

Soon I came back to the window I had exited and went back in the house.

I know that it was the same window but, instead of being in the basement, I was on the third floor.  There was a door that exited on to the roof and out I went.

It was so high that I could see my house.  So I parachuted down and landed right next door on my lawn.

a little confused

Found a few spelling errors in your story, and to be honest, i dont understand the story, it reads more like a fairy tale with its hazy views and over trusting characters.

interesting... try vairying your sentence structure. Lots of the sentences were simple and began with I which makes the story choppy. for example instead of "I continued to explore. I found a window going out into a garden." use something like Upon exploring the house, I discovered a window heading towards the garden." Paragraph form also might help the flow of the story.

sorry after reading the example sentence I gave you I realized that I had messed it up. it should be "After exploring the house, I discovered a window heading towards the garden."
