Life As It Stands
This field, is filled with the most beautiful of smells From a bitter hell I've escaped, now I'm somewhere else
The trees stand so tall Looking up to them makes me feel so incredibly small
On their wings, the butterflies hold the greatest designs From a life of lies and coneitedness, I've taken my resign
No one here to enforce foolish rules My face is clear, holding not one cut or bruise
A beach I spot with water the deepest shade of blue I can remember it so vividly, this is where I first met you
But I faintly remember your face It's no longer relevant, soon it will be erased
But it's better for us all For our pasts, we always choose not to recall
We throw them into the sea From this day on, let the waves set my memory free
And I'll enjoy my life as it stands No more infection and the time it spends
For I can see something new on the horizon And upon her head, the most colorful of diamonds
Bright pacifistic colors never looked so good to me But her appearance, captures the most attractive imagery
I can tell she holds a heart that is able to love Her ship, a vessel that will connect me to heaven above
