The hitman, John O'Sullivan, walked down the street, towards his next customers. John saw the three men standing in front of a place called Club V. These guys were calling the hit. John walked up to the three men. "You the guys who called about the hit?" he asked. "Yeah," the first man, Rico, said. "We're the guys." John stepped back, covering his nose with his hands. "What the hell is that smell?!?!?!" he cried. "Sunblock," the second man, Larry, said. "How much did you put on?" John asked. "None of your ******* business," the third man, Kevin said. John smiled. "Sorry," he said. "You got a photo of the guy?" Larry pulled out a photo he had taken of the boy when he had first walked in Club V. Thank God that kid didn't notice it. He handed the photo to John. "No no no no no no!" he cried. "Not him! He's a teenager. Hitman code, no children, no teens, no women." "Would a couple extra bucks get you to doing it?" Rico asked slyly. "How much?" John asked, almost expected. "Thirty-four thousand," Rico said. "Where do I find this little shitbag?" John asked.
Max drove down the street toward his house, happy that soon, he'd start his new job. Suddenly, the passenger side window shattered just as Max heard a gun shot. Max slammed down on the brakes. He opened his door and ducked out of the car. He looked up, and on the roof of a person's house, was a psycho with an rifle. "What the **** are you doing?!?!?!?!" Max shouted. The man, John, smiled, and shot at him again. Max ducked down. He had to get away from the car, or it might explode, but he never dared leave it because if he did, he'd be vulnerable and get shot. John the hitman kept on firing, until he stopped. Max looked and saw that John jumped from the roof and landed on the ground. He stood, and began firing again. Max made a run for it. He didn't get very far, though. He tripped over a rock and fell down face first into the asphalt. Max turned on his back, and saw John, smiling down at him. "Bye bye, kid," he said, pointing the rifle at Max... Copyright 2008 Robbie Basse |
