Note: ****, it's been a long time since I wrote one of these. Well, let's hope I haven't lost my touch.
Sam had so many questions pouring out of his mouth at once as soon as he got on the road with his new friends Mikayla and Zack. "How'd you survive? Where'd you get all the weapons? How long have you been on the road?" he said, and had even more questions. But his last one stun Mikayla and Zack. "Why is she crying?" The two didn't want to speak about Danny and how he sacrificed himself. "Uh...a friend of ours..." Zack said, a tear running down his cheek, "was bitten, and he killed himself for us." Sam suddenly felt so stupid. "Oh, dude, I'm sorry." "It's okay," Zack assured. Zack wiped the tears away. "Hey!" Sam cried out. "Look up ahead! It's a city!" Zack and Mikayla looked up ahead and in fact there was a city. They had left Varks Grove behind. "Maybe there'll be more survivors!" Mikayla exclaimed. "With weapons!" Sam added. Then, they all heard something. Shouts. No, more like battle cries. They all turned, and saw about a hundred zombies chasing them. Joe was in the front of the zombies, apparently leading them. "We got company," Sam said worriedly. "And it's not the welcoming commitee." Mikayla said even more worried. Zack thought for a moment. "Mikayla, Sam, take some guns, stick out the window, and shoot at their heads." "With pleasure," Sam said slyly. Sam got a machine gun whilst Mikayla got a rifle. They stuck their heads out the window, aimed, and fired. Some zombies went down immediately, others sort of twitched, but then died. But they were still coming, fast. And soon, the trio would run out of ammo. They needed to find an ammo shop in town. "FASTER!" Mikayla and Sam shrieked in unison. Zack slammed his sneaker into the accelerator and the car flew off.The zombies had no chance of catching up. Hopefully, this new town wouldn't be so infested with zombies as Varks Grove. They'd have to pray for that. But even God could not stop this apocolyptic catastrophe of the dead walking and taking over... Copyright 2008 Robbie |
