I was born into this world. I am Man I have tamed this world, for I am Man. I have traveled and conquered, invented and fabricated. I have climbed mountains I have built I have destroyed I have created I have employed As no other creature before. I am Man.
Together we have fought, and one by one we have died. Each one of us was born only to create and find our successors in the same situation. Pyramids, canals, temples, and roads we have constructed only to destroy, to pillage, to reek of havoc, to rape. Ideas have been conceived and aborted, while others have changed our lives, as well as our the lives of those who will come after us. I am A man.
Into the heavens we have climbed Only to be baffled by the new worlds we have and will find. First with our telescopes we have peeked then with our machines we have searched.
As for our home world, we have explored we have used, we have corrupted. Our world is dying...time to move on to the next.
And now the Sun is expanding Mercury and Venus are disappearing Earth is melting. It was a nice run my friends: “Mankind: 100,000BC - “
But wait! We cannot know when we will die! For we will be replaced long before the Earth is gone! Evolution is still changing us, changing us into a new species! Whatever comes my way Whatever challenges me Whatever it may be that lies ahead in the future, I will do as I have done in the past, for I am Man.
