Lily and Ty ran along the forest, desperately searching for Grandma Kat's house. How far away was it? Lily realized they weren't just going to warn Kat, they were going to take refuge. Lily kept telling Ty to keep calling her to play the Paramore song, just in case one of them was on the loose. Finally, Kat's house came into view. They ran faster. The song stopped. The two burst through the doors. There, a fragile old lady sat on the couch knitting. "Lily?" Kat asked. "Deary, what on Earth are you doing here? And who's he?" "No time to explain," Lily said, "werewolves!" "You---you've seen them?!?!?!" Kat cried. Lily turned, confused. "You know?" "I must tell you something." Kat said. "For centuries, there has been a protector, the one who protects the town from the pack. I'm that one. And now, you must take on the responsibility of it. I should've told you sooner, but---" "But Kat, we killed them all! Me and Ty, they're dead!" Lily said. "You did!" Kat screamed in delight. "Oh, you're the best grand daughter ever, deary. Oh, you must be going! It's 3:36 AM! You're mother must be worried sick." "But---" Lily started. "Go!" Kat said. "Quickly!" Lily and Ty ran off, kissing along the way, finally becoming boyfriend and girlfriend. Kat's face drooped into a frown. "I wish someone could know, could understand what I have to go through every full moon." Kat began. "I cannot tell Lily or anyone else, they'll shun me, and kill me. They can never know my secret." Kat said. Kat stood and walked to the window. She opened it all the way, stuck her head out, and howled like a wolf toward the full moon...
