The boys in her life

Liked to twist in her heart

As she struggled within

To tell them apart

First there was Martin

So loyal and true

Who would emotionally beat her

When he told her what to do

Then there was Justin

So sweet and so dear

Who wouldn't come see her

Because he lived in fear

Lastly there was Donald

Who she loved the most

But she was an afterthought

And was treated like a ghost

The men who loved her

And hated her too

Treated her like dirt

But as always she stayed true

She knows not what she wants

Her wants and needs unsure

She wants to be taken care of

Her love life needs a cure

She lives in silent

And untold misery

As the boys in her life

Made her feel weary

As she chased something hidden

As she looked up above

The thing we all search for

Unconditional love
