I am not a drunk

I only drink

So that I don't think about you

So that I don't see you

So that I don't feel you

I only drink

Just because I don't want to fall

Just because I want you off my mind

Just because I want to forget you

I only drink

So that I can breath

So that I can sleep

So that I can wake up alive

If I don't drink

You make my life miserable

I can smell you when I breathe

I feel that your love runs

In my veins instead of blood

If I stop drinking?

That day I won't feel you around

That day my heart will stop

My soul will get eager to meet you

I don't drink because I want to

I only drink to hide the sorrow inside me

So that I can erase your memories

And to keep smiling

Whatever I do I have to drink?

But that does not mean

That I am a drunk

I only do it for you!
