Why do I cry?

The rules have not changed

This isn't finished

We're still playing the game

I cry for the happy girl

The one who thought

She might have a chance

To be more than what she was

I cry for the sad girl

The one who's never known

What true happiness is

In a love life gone wrong

I cry for the jealous girl

Who knows deep inside

That she can't have what she wants

And it burns her alive

I cry for the curious girl

That wants to see how you live

That wants to try new things

And is quick to forgive

I cry for the outside girl

The one that wants to fit in

Never having found the place

Where she truly belongs

I cry for the angry girl

Who get mad at the other

Who knows that she doesn't care

To treat you like I would my lover

We are all one and the same, the girls that cry

We have never known true happiness until you came into our life

We love you forever, that's the way it will be

And if this is the path you and I wander, let's do so breathlessly
