The Peacock Case

When the train doors opened, a blast of sticky air...

What Kind Of God?

WHAT KIND OF GOD? By Jon Stalk...

Bring Me Down

Disallusioned skies move overhead

Is there anything else that needs to be said

Everywhere you look, things gradually fall apart

Bliss is only evident up in the sky with the stars

The point of this all isn't existant anymore

The truth evaporated when I learned you were a whore

You don't like me for who I've become

I wouldn't expect you to, too busy cutting your skin to stay numb

Surrounded by hypocrites, here I am

This life, give me a good reason for why it shouldn't end

You fool, wasting your time trying to bring me down

What kind of pain can you show me that I haven't already found

I like how you articulate your emotion. You have a knack for revealing more than one in each poem--and since people rarely have only one emotional response to anything, it makes your poems stand out.

Great Job

Yet again another great poem...

I see such pain and sadness here... It really makes me want to cry!! That is how you know that your work is good. To be able to bring out peoples emotions. keep it coming.

i really appreciate your comment, you could say that is one of my ultimate purposes with these poems i write....to get people to really feel the emotion intended. and it's amazing to me how you were able to feel the pain in this piece.
