co·ma1 /ˈkoʊ mə/: a state of prolonged unconsciousness
You’re disconnected You’re in reality, but not of it Imagine a dark room In midst of a war You know that it's happening But the outcome is unpredictable And the events are unknown You know what preceded And only hope the aftermath remains the same You had it good But you fell into this terror This coma Now you dream Dream of what came before Since you’re disconnected Because of this coma You dream of having it good again You dream of Him His love brought you thus far It’s the one way out
But now, because of Him, I’m out of this terror This coma And it never stopped beating
For you, my love… For you Copyright 2008 Evan Dover |
