Walk away from heaven

Walk away from hell

Run away from everything

Your family as well.

Hide your head amongst the sand

Lie down on the beach

Let the waters take you now

And put you out of reach.

It’s easy letting go of life

There’s nothing more to fear.

Take the darkness as it comes

It just could be your year

Hopelessness
I'm not all doom and gloom. Here's one I wrote for my wife......................it's not finished yet and that's the reason I don't think poetry's not my forte......but you get a sneak preview.

Reach across the table and let me take your hand
Imagine that we're by the sea and walking on the sand.
Look across the waves, pretend that we are by the shore
Tell me that you love me now, and will do evermore
