Reaching From Afar

These noises coming to me from afar

Reaching for my insides, successfully pulling them apart

The cracks on my face, it appears they are real

Your ghostly presence, still the only thing I am able to feel

And they're watching me from above

Taking away anything I've ever loved

Trailing me from behind

Your painful memory has begun to take flight

It's like I can never get away

My lust for you has made me this slave

Getting harder to cope with everything I've lost

All the self destruction in my intelligence, you have caused

Knowing what it takes to find yourself

Pushing all those limits for somebody else

I waved goodbye to it all

I no longer walk, I have come to crawl

I thought this was good. The best lines are the last few 'I waved goodbye to it all I no longer walk, I have come to crawl' You really do regress when you get hit with something like that out of nowhere. =]
