What You've Done

My trust it's all used up, nothing left to give

Why do you keep justifying reasons for my cracked ribs

Everything you do, your disgusting see-through soul

They provide an alibi for why you tossed me like a stone

And I'm still the victim nobody listens to

Everything you have done to me, now I can finally see the truth

So tired of this pathetic race

I wish we could just all be erased

I'm falling down so diseased now

Injected with your sickness, there is no way out

Coughing up all of your lies

Letting bleed my own rotted insides

There is no existing cure for what I've contracted

Nobody helps me, you keep them all distracted

I can't believe you stole my heart like this

Just to get attention, you cut those wrists

If I had a knife I'd cut your throat

Killing you would bring back everything you stole

I've lost hope, I can't adhere

I'd even pray to god just to make this all disappear

Violence is all that we are fed

It's no wonder you looked so beautiful to me in all of your dread

This has to end somewhere, so tired of wearing this fake smile

Just you wait and see, I'll be dead in a little while

This was intense. The stongest part in my opinion is "Violence is all that we are fed

It's no wonder you looked so beautiful to me in all of your dread." This speaks volumes about the culture of violence and death we unfortunaley live in today. Cannot turn on the tv without seeing mutilated human beings. Sad. Another great read, thank you.
