BEAUTY OF FEET
Feet are surely funny things. Each of us have two. Beyond the number of our parts, No one else’s quite like you.
Your feet are white and wrinkly, While mine are dry and cracked. If people really saw my feet, Who could I attract?
She prances on her tippy toes. He’s clumsy like a clown. Those toes are wiggly worms, These feet are chocolate brown.
Her feet are long and slender, Square ones are short and stout. Some feet are high with arches. While others spread flat out.
Our feet all look so silly So we hide them in new shoes. When we survey the colors, How ever can we choose?
We buy the latest styles. I want those just like my friend. We squeeze our feet in fashion. Our heels blister in the end.
We hide our “too long” toes; We tuck them in so tight. We wear our shoes in public, Then kick them off at night.
Perhaps I’ll try an open toe, Paint the nails until they shine. Show off my pretty, fancy feet. Do you want some like mine?
Amazing unique feet, As different as can be. But even more wondrous… God’s plan for you and me.
God gave us each two feet To lead us on our way. Feel the strength -- ability. Gladly use it every day.
So run and skip. Walk and climb. Jump joyfully about! Use your feet to follow God As you explore your route.
Thank God for effective feet, Don’t worry about your shoe. Beauty starts with our feet, Where we go and what we do…
How beautiful on the mountains are the feet of those who bring good news, who proclaim peace, who bring good tidings, who proclaim salvation, who say to Zion,“Your God reigns!” Isaiah 52:7
