“They are upon us!” A hysterical man yells. “There will be mass killings! No one would be left alive! Get away before it’s too late!”

Sarah just ignored the oh too obvious hobo. She was already late for work, her alarm clock didn’t go off and she awoke an hour late. Her boss would have her ass for sure. But now wasn’t time to panic. She held her breath as the homeless man walked by hollering in her ear. The whisky bottle in his hand was a key sign that he was drunk.

Sarah sat down at her desk only to be greeted by a phone call. When she picked it up there was no one on. It must have been a prank call. She smashed the headpiece into the phone, she wasn’t in the mood.

“Are you alright?” A concerned voice asks.

“Yea I’m fine.” Sarah moans back. “It’s just been a hectic morning is all.”

Sarah turned in her chair to see concerned eyes staring down at her. The man that belonged to the eyes was her dearest friend. He had been with her through the hard and fun times.

“How is your day so far Carson?” Sarah manages to ask with a smile.

“So and So…traffic was a terror. I’m going across the road for lunch later, would you like to come?” Carson says smiling

“Oh I would love to come…thankyou for the invo.”

“No probs see you at lunch.”

With that Carson left Sarah alone to grumble about her morning. First her alarm didn’t go off, then she had to have no breakfast and she wasn’t able to get a taxi. Walking to work briskly in high heals wasn’t much fun especially when the hobo began screaming in her ear. What a beginning of a day. Nothing else could possibly go wrong.

It was a peaceful lunch. No one noticed that she was late and lucky for Sarah her boss came in later than she. The crust of her sandwich laid mangled on her plate. She asked for no crust but she guessed that they must have forgotten. She didn’t want to push matters on it; her day could turn out worse.

“Thankyou Carson…I owe you one.” She thanked with a smile. “

“Not at all it’s on me. After all you did have a worse day than me.” Carson laughed. “That was a pretty bad morning.”

Screams shrieked from outside the shop. People ran past the windows like a herd of stampeding wildebeests. Sarah got up from her seat to investigate. A frantic woman ran into the shop and grabbed her.

“They are here. There will be no mercy.” She screamed.

Sarah pushed the woman off her and ran outside. Off in the distance was a large white cloud. At her feet were tiny white foam balls. They began to clime up her legs; the little orbs began to grow eyes and a mouth. Sarah kicked them off in disgust. Carson came out and joined up with her. The foam balls also climbing up him. He tried kicking them off as they began to tear through his trousers.

“What the hell is happening!” He yells more than asks. “What the hell are these things?”

“They’re killer foam balls!” Sarah exclaim. “This just isn’t my day.”

Carson took hold of Sarah’s wrist and began running. They joined a mass of panicking people. The wind brought them in faster. Who ever was unfortunate to lag behind was taken, nothing but there clothes were left. Animals weren’t safe either, birds, rats, dogs and cats ran for their lives. Everything was running for their lives.

“There is one only man I know that an rid us of this evil!” Carson puffs. “Hold on”
