Amelia was an active child, a wonderful sibling and a helpful daughter, but one day her whole word changed when she was kidnapped and never heard from again.

Why me? Why does everything horrible always happen to me?

Amelia's thoughts were cut short by a shooting pain at her wrists and ankles. She was blindfolded, lonely and hurt. Two days ago she was happy and in comfort. Two days ago she was kidnapped and all happiness ended.

The young girl lay in the back of a moving truck, which had been on the move for the last two days. Only stopping to give the girl food and water. At least they were not starving her. So, if they weren't going to abuse her, what were they doing? The mystery remained unsolved.

Suddenly, the truck screeched to a halt. Both doors opened and two men stepped from inside the truck. They walked around the back to retrieve the girl. Picking her up, one of them walked up to the house they had stopped in front of. Once up the stairs and onto the second floor he opened a bedroom door, cut her bonds, untied her blindfold and left her lying on the bed.

Tears streaming down her face, Amelia asked again, "Why me?"
