Can people change?

I like to think so

Is change painful?

I know so

Just look at me

I used to be horrible

I used to be blind

Now I am kind

Now I can see

Can people change overnight?

It depends on what they're changing

Is change always good?

Not all the time

I look back in my younger years

I started out innocent

I started out pure

Then my softness got fewer

Then my hardness got stronger

Are people always going to change?

Of course not

Can we make people change?
Definitely no

I look at who I used to hang with

I know someone that is stubborn

I know someone that is hard-headed

In his heart not changing is embedded

He will never change until he is awoken

Is change always possible?

Always

Will people always know?

Not all the time

I was in that ignorance

I didn't think I would change

I didn't thing it was possible

But now I am not hostile

Because I saw I could change

Posted by resistanceisfreedom 2008-04-22 19:01:43 .... Change. I think at some point in our lives we all go through a change. Whether bad or good we must all go through it. I think this did a good job of conveying that. I have to say though there were a few structural mishaps in this along with some spelling mistakes. If you would fix those i think this would be a bit more enjoyable. Don't get me wrong though, thought this was a good poem. + Report this comment
