The New Holocaust

Everyone expects us,

to fit in the mold,

We're supposed to shut our mouths,

and do as we're told,

Don't question,

anyone that has authority,

Don't think for yourselves,

go with the majority,

They want us to be,

little clones of them,

Anything else,

they seem to condemn,

It looks like,

a holocaust of originality,

Now everyone has to have,

the same mentality,

Perfect little angels,

who all look the same,

Looking for others',

approval and acclaim,

Our own utopia,

where everything's ideal,

On our knees,

we all will kneel,

Any chance of,

uniqueness will diminish,

That is when their plan,

will be officially finished

,,,

I kinda felt like this was some kinda punk song also. Maybe part of a song from Greenday. Liked it.

burn baby burn

This is a fine verse, full of good ideas.

BUT

Why do the young, and particularly young punks, think they have a monopoly on anarchic or anti-establishment thought?

Two items of history to make you think, (I hope)

1. I was referred to as a punk in 1959......

2. Watt Tyler was assassinated in the 12th century because "He drank beer in a slovenly manner in the presence of the king...."

The battle you rave on about now is a never ending story which started at least three thousand years ago.

Welcome to the cause....what kept you?

Kind regards

Harmattan
