PART 2- BUT PLEASE READ PART 1 FIRST. enjoy

His struggle was short- almost non- existent as he surrendered to the black oblivion that was sweetly calling to him as the sirens had sweetly called to the sailors. Ethan was going to have a very long visit with oblivion-- sweet sweet oblivion.

COUPLE OF WEEKS LATER.

Aliana seated herself on the dock and looked out towards the majestic mountains. She and Ethan had loved those mountains they were like a second home. they would spend hours and hours there: hiking and just simply enjoying the beauty-- at least on his good days which happened to be very rare.

Ethan had always been very moody and secretive. Eventually after being with him for so long she had gotten used to it. She had learned to predict his mood swings and to some extent they had started to lessen. He had become more outgoing, more friendly, more warm. But just when she had decided that things were getting better- they took a turn for the worse.

She no longer saw that blazing passion in his brown eyes. The fire had been diminished. His eyes once the rich and vibrant color of henna became a cold, rusty bronze. He had become aloof and the more she urged him to talk and explain what was going on, the crankier he would get. Eventually he would leave the house and come back several hours- sometimes even days later. She would have already cried herself to sleep and even if she was awake to greet him she knew he would not even care to acknowledge her. He would just walk straight to the room and shut the door. All without a mere glance in her direction.

Then one day, after what had particularly turned out to be one of his good days he had brought her here, to their vacation home and she had been instructed to stay here. He had told her he had some business to take care of and then he left. Aliana immediately followed him. She had finally reached her mark. She wanted to find out once and for all what this "business" was that he so often tended to.

Aliana had chosen the worst day to follow him- for this day was the day that she stood amongst the trees and watched in silence as Ethan was killed in the same mountains he had loved so much. The same mountains she was looking at right now. That night she had not slept at all, the image of Ethan and the man in black constantly playing in her head.

Aliana nearly fainted when the taxi driver tapped her on the shoulder- she had forgotten that she had called for a cab to come take her. Ethan had taken the only car. "You ready Mrs.?" "Yes. Yes I am." Aliana managed to say as she regained her composure. The taxi driver picked up her bags and started walking to the car. Aliana stood up and also started towards the car. She still wasn’t sure as to whether she should leave or not. There must have been a reason Ethan had asked her to stay here. The problem was she couldn’t. She was so scared. That man was out there and she for one did not ever want to meet him.

Aliana sighed and looked around. She loved this place. She and Ethan had created so many memories here. But then he had also died here. She wasn’t sure she could ever come back. Aliana turned and took one last look at the lake and mountains. Her heart skipped a beat. There was a man standing at the base of the mountains and he seemed to be looking right at her. It could have been the man in black. But wouldn’t he try to shoot her or something? This man was just standing there not moving at all. Not only that but it looked exactly like Ethan and he was wearing exactly what Ethan was wearing the last time she had seen him a couple of weeks ago. But Ethan was dead wasn’t he?! She had seen him die!

Aliana rubbed her eyes and looked again. The man was gone. In the distance she heard that same ghastly laughter she had heard that fateful night. Aliana quickly got into the car and shut the door.
"Who the heck was that guy?!" she thought.

"You alright Mrs.? You look like you just saw ghost."
"It was..." "I mean..." Aliana began. "Never mind. Just Never mind..." And with that Aliana drove away without even a mere glance backward.
