A wanderer I am
It is peace that I seek
I look to the sky
I pray for I am weak

The warm sun lights my face
My tunic touched by the breeze
Cool and comforting
From the Sea of Galilee

In the glare of the sun
A bird flies to the east
I follow his song
To a crowd gathered in peace

What spectacle I find
A voice so pure
Does he speak to me
One with spirit so poor!

Blessed am I says He
The Kingdom is mine
Who is He
His words speak divine

I once wandered alone
Without joy I fear it
But now I walk with the Father
Son and Holy Spirit

My joy is eternal
Not only peace have I found
But the Son of Man
His reign to abound

I can't believe I'm trying to put a poem on this site. Much different from my last story, more in line with my other 2. Oh well, send in the comments, let'em rip! Remember, this is my first.

This is beautiful and heart touching. No matter what your religious preferences are.....

I could feel where you were and feel the breeze on my face too...great job.
