I Still Have Time

Trying to mend myself back together again

Gluing back on this broken wing

Pessimistic ways are all I have known

Maybe it's time to leave that side alone

Just take the clowns away

I can't take their jokes today

I wish it was as easy as they said

Trying to improve upon what lay dead

But give me credit, I'm not down and out

I still have time to break through the doubt

If you would hear these voices as I do

You would give yourself time too

If your darkest memories got played over and over

How long would it take for you to recover

Truth is, you really don't know

Well neither do I, but the seed always needs time to grow

So lock me in here until I'm right

Just leave me to myself tonight
