gone was the girl

gone was the girl once innocent of love,...

Birth of the White Buffalo

The bell hanging from the handle of the door...

Heartsease

Summer is gone from the summerland,

Only autumn's twilight shimmer remains.

Under the grasp of winter falling,

Left without both moon and sun.

Swiftly bring the dawn oHerald!

Ever do deathly days grow colder.

While fairweather men grow bitter and old.

Summertime's gone lads you'll not again see her,

Eternity's calling 'tis time to go home.

EWWW! Poetry...

I don't like reviewing poetry, but I read everything else on your page so I clicked this.

Now I have to admit that I liked it. There goes my killer rep as a bad-ass....

....

Good poem, I interpret this fluid work as being about the twilight years we all will face...
