The words doesn’t mean anything

Love, I love you

They mean you care for someone

Hold them closer than a stranger

But other than that

What do they mean

Nothing to me, at least not anymore

Even when I say it

I don’t think it means much

It’s just a way to show people that you care

I know people care

People love me

And I’m glad they know I exist

But I’m sorry I don’t care

Don’t care what you think about me

Love

That word died a long time ago

They day my mother died

I love you

Why do I even say that

Nothing good comes from it

Only pain and tears

I know plenty of that

And know I don’t care

Don’t cry

Don’t feel pain in my heart

Don’t truly love

Just understand

I love you

But I’m not in love
