she's saffron

i was beat down on the beach,
while we cherished the specific ghosts
of your keyboard,

winding the silt in our tangled hair

and i cut the remixes
in the sand with my fingertips,
dressing my wounds
with the saffron i found
there

so switch it to audio,
when you don't want to
see me no more
