As she crept into the doorway, to her surprise she found her parents on the carpeted floor. Their mangled bodies lied twisted on the floor. She rushed to their sides not noticing that she was running in their blood. Tears stung her face as she began to hug them. How could this happen? Why not to her? She ran her fingers through her mothers hair. Every inch they would get caught because of the blood matting it. This wasn’t fair, a child shouldn’t see this. How life can be cruel, this was an obvious work of a psycho. The small child dialed the phone…000…a voice answers. Cops walked in and out of the room, each one taking out a bit of evidence. The little girl sat in the back seat of a cop car. Her eyes never left her parents rooms. This would scar her memories for life. A woman cop leaned down into the window and asked her questions. Do you have relatives? Did you see who did this? Where were you when this happened? The young girl sat silently, every question asked was ignored. Fifteen Years LaterNow at the age of 20 Alexia had a boyfriend, a car and recently a new apartment. Today she was especially happy, she would finally tell her boyfriend the great news. For a year now they have been trying to make a child. She was over excited when the doctor told her that she was now one week pregnant. Everything was perfect. The incident that happened fifteen years earlier now just a blur to her. Only nightmares about it haunted her, but she just shrugged them off. Her foster parents were what parents are meant to be. Understanding and embarrassing at times. What parents aren’t embarrassing? It’s in their nature to be. Even though Alexia knew that they weren’t her biological parents she still loved them like she would her own. They were there through the hard and good times. They were everything she wanted. She also had a younger brother. He was more rebellious than her but he still did what he was told. “Honey! I have something to tell you!” Alexia called. She threw her keys onto the kitchen bench and made her way to the lounge room. “Daniel? What are you watching?” On the television there was a documentary about a murder. It was a murder of two adults, the child was left alive. Alexia rushed to the couch only to find her boyfriend laying in a pool of his own blood. She let out a scream and rushed for the phone only to find that the cord was cut. “You escaped me once but not again.” A hoarse voice said. Alexia turned around to be face to face with her parents killer. Her heart beat hard against her ribcage. She knew this man, she had been working with him for the past couple of years. She trusted him, he was the one that gave her the job. The man brought the knife down and around. It sliced through the young woman’s neck with ease. What was meant to be an excellent day ended up to be a tragic day.
my sister had to do an english assignment and needed help. so offered to write a draft story for her. It had to be 500-600 words. it also had to have the sentence she crept into the doorway. This was the best that i could come up with for a last minute job. i hope you all enjoy Copyright 2008 rachael |
