So she followed him up the stairs and into a bedroom. Eden guessed it was her older cousin Raven’s. As her little cousin, the smallest twin kept going back she realized that her cousin Raven’s brother's room was through a door connected to her own. Her little cousin, Heero had jumped into the bed, telling her to come with him. At that moment she felt like something had brought her here, not just because she had been following Heero, but something else entirely.

She knew Chance liked her, a lot actually, and she liked him too. The one thing that seemed to stand out most to her was that they were cousins, not by blood or anything, just step-related but marriage, her step-mother's nephew. The only thing that stood between her and him being together was that she was with someone she was already happy with.

Chance had just ended a relationship with a woman who was too much for himself and the rest of his family, although it was true to be said that the family didn’t want to let the baby of the three children go. Poor Chance was still treated like a child by his mother and family, reading his internet conversations and checking his phone messages and logs. They never seemed to approve of anyone.

They had fooled around the last time she had seen him alone, but it had only been flirting, no kissing, nothing but touching and playing around. She might have gone further if it had not been for the guy she was with, if only he had said something sooner to her, they could have had something, but then maybe not.

Eden still thought about it sometimes while she was away at school, about how different it would be to be in a relationship with Chance, how much more exciting it would be, but in truth she liked the one relationship she was in because of the person he was inside, they had so much in common. But then she had a lot in common with Chance too, they both came from the same area, so they could see each other more often than her current man, and they were involved in the same things, interested in the same things.

She thought about what it would be like to spend a night in bed with him, how hot and heavy that night would be indeed, but then that wouldn’t happen would it?

Eden picked up her little cousin Heero out of the bed and brought him back down stairs, she was still wearing Chance’s hat, she’d stolen it just after he had purposely bumped into her at the kitchen counter. As she set him down in the living room, Eden looked on over to Chance, still thinking about him more than she should.
