I heard a gun shot

But I felt no pain

I got shot

But it's not a physical hurt

I suffer deeply

But again it is not physical

Are you betrayed?

I think I am

Are you heart-broken?

I think I am

I was with my friend when it happened

But it happened behind my back

I was supposed to meet my love

But she never showed

Are you sent here?

I think I am

Are you in hell?

I think I am

I was here after the shooting

But I don't know where I am

I was on earth and I'm sure I'm not in heaven

But I am not burning
