Gone

While vacant eyes that seldom blink
Stare nothingness away
Mindless thoughts refuse to think
Not knowing what to say

My waking nightmares follow sleep
Since time has been withdrawn
So even when I'm wide awake
I'm still forever gone

And every moment seems to feel
When contemplating space
Though barely do I notice
Tears are falling down my face

I'm caught between our distant worlds
Both in and out of me
Day is here and night is there
But you are all I see
