Bestfriends!

         A cute lil' girl is crying under a tree. She is a litte bit black but not totally black. She is a simple girl who wants simple life. Children and her classmates are teasing her "NERGRA!" This is why she is always alone, crying. One day, at the school, while her classmates are teasing her, a little boy comes and knocked out the people who are teasing the little girl. They introduce their self to one another. The girl's name is Hyacinth and the boy's name is Stanley. It is so sad that their friendship is too short. Stanley has to go to States for he and his family will stay there. Stanley and Hyacinth hugged before he left Philippines. Stanley gave Hya a spoon while Stanley has the other, the fork. That symbolizes their friendship. The two cried. Stanley promised that he will come back when Hya is hopping that his bestfriend will come, soon. At their age, Hyacinth never realizes that it will take long. Tita Gemma, Stanley's mother, took Stanley inside the car.

-After 15 years-

          Hyacinth is now a 4^th year college student at Sacred Heart College with a course of business management. She is happy being single, happy with her complete family. She is no longer negra. At the graduation day. Hyacinth's parents, Tita Malou and Tito Glenn, were crying. They never imagined that their cute little girl is now graduating. Hyacinth graduated as cum laude. She is a bright child, now as a bright lady. She is now a lady, a gorgeous lady. Not expecting too much, Hya misses Stanley. After how many years, Stanley never came to the Philippines. Maybe he was so happy now there. He is now maybe a successful person managing a big company. It is his biggest dream since they were children. Hyacinth took a sigh. Tita Malou saw her. Tita asked if she is not happy. It is in Hya's eyes that she really misses her bestfriend. The day ends with a smile at Hyacinth's face.

          Another day has come. She woke up with a happy face. Hyacinth took her breakfast. Tita Malou told Hya to apply a job. Hya said yes! Hyacinth took her bath, wears her beautiful dress. Hyacinth is kinda fashioned girl. She wears dress perfectly. She moves like a model. Well, it's also one of her dreams, to be a fashion model. Hya is walking along the way when a car almost bumped her. She slipped at the feces of a cow. No one helped her but herself. She went home with a smelly odor. All at home laughed. She changed her clothes and moved. She applied at a restaurant named Tokyo Tokyo as a manager. The one who interviewed her said that they will call when she passed and when she can start. Hya strolled at the mall. Went through shopping, "window shopping". She doesn't have any money except for her fare. She went back home and hr mother told her that she can start tomorrow at her job.

          The time before she came to her office, a familiar face came out to her face. The person is far but she knew that she already saw that person. When they almost near at each other, the man says hi and wave. She shouted and looks so surprised. They hugged each other same as they did when they were still a child. They were too happy they saw each other. Stanley told where he lives. Unfortunately, Hya needs to go to her work. The day ends. Hya went home and tell everyone in the house that Stanley came home. Hya shared everything about the passed. It is so awkward to know that she just now told about Stanley. Hya never tell stories before. Now, she became so open and it seems like he wants to tell everyone about her life.

          The next day, Hya is doesn't have work. She invited Stanley to come to her house. Stanley came. She introduced Stanley to her family. Stanley tells stories about his life in States. Hya tells stories about what happened here in the Philippines. They were very happy that they still have the closeness. They ate adobo, Hya's favorite food. There are also ube which is the favorite of Stanley. They laughed, they sing, and they danced all night. Stanley went home bringing 3 slices of Ube. Hya felt so much glad that she finally sees her bestfriend after so many years.

          One time, when Hya went to the house of Stanley her mother is the one who opens the gate. Angrily she told Hya that live her son she already has girlfriend.  Tears went off to the eyes of Hya. The seen was too heavy that Hya came to the point she hated Stanley. A time came; Stanley went to the house of Hya. Tita Malou said that Hya isn't here, she's at her work. The following days, same things are happening. One night, Stanley saw Hya walking in front of their house. Stanley called up Hya saying wait. Hya keeps on walking pretending that she didn't hear anything. Stanley caught up Hya's attention He pretended that he as bumped by a car. Hya runs fast towards Stan. Confusedly, Hya says that she will again talk to Stanley and do everything what he wants. Stanley laughed. Hya got mad. Stanley said sorry. Hya forgives. The two talk about why Hya is not talking to Stanley. She honestly told that she was asked by Stan's mother. Stanley got a little bit mad. She said that he shouldn't tell this to his mother because his mother would be so mad with me if he will do that. Stanley says yes. Yes, that he won't tell this to his mother. Hya sigh. The two went home from their houses.

          The next day, Hya felt so high. It's like she took drugs that morning. She greets everyone a good morning. She's too happy. Hya when she saw Stanley, she felt the feeling of in love. Hya smiles every time she could hear the voice of Stanley. She is day dreaming. The weirdness of Hya, when she's in love she do the hiccup thing. No one knows that. She lately realizes that when she fell in love with Stanley. The feeling of Hya made long. There is a time came that when she wants to tell the truth about her feelings to Stanley, Stanley introduced a chicks to her. Hya felt sad and wants to be alone. Her works are affected. Her parents were affected too. Her mother asked "why are you so sad lately?" She told her mother about what she feels to Stanley. Tita Malou gave an advice to her. She did that. Every time Hya sees Stanley with his girlfriend she felt very hurt. Stanley has no idea about what Hya feels.

          One moment, Stanley and Hya talked. They tell each other's problems, about everything. Hya isn't ready that time that's why she didn't tell to Stanley how much she loves him. They tell one another "I Love You" but obviously as friends.

          Hya is so freak that she told Stanley how much she loves him. They were drunk that time. Stanley believed that when you're drank everything you say are true. That time, the two were at Hya's house. Hya vomits at the CR. He only realizes that Hya don't drink when Tita Malou said so. Stanley went home, confused. He has girlfriend and he knew that he loves Hyacinth as bestfriend. Stanley is a chick boy. Hya knows that. Everybody knows that. Stanley and his girlfriend broke up. Stanley called Hya at the telephone with all confidence. He told everything what happened. His mother has nothing to do but to give advice and Tita Gemma realizes that she shouldn't stopped Stanley to see Hyacinth. Hya isn't a bad influence to Stanley. Stanley went to the house of Hya crying. Stanley told Hya that he will go to the States again to work with his father. He was asked to manage the business. Hya was hurt. She will never see her bestfriend for many years. Stanley promised that he will go back.

          The time has come. Stanley's flight is at 10am in the morning. Hya and her family follow Stanley to the airport to say goodbye. Stanley that time wasn't able to say goodbye to Hya because he was too busy fixing the things that he will bring. The two see each other. They hugged. Stanley is now going to leave. Hya cried. Stanley stayed at the Philippines for only 1 year.

-After 5 years-

          Hya now is a successful business woman. She is managing their own restaurant named "Shants". It came from Stanley and Hyacinth. She became so happy, single. A car stopped in front of Shants restaurant. Hya remember that car. It was the one who almost bump her that she gets her face in the feces of a cow. A man moved down from the car. It was Stanley. Hya is not expecting that Stanley will go to the Philippines since Stan was asked to manage their business. So, she realized that the man driving that car before was Stanley. She go to Stanley and frown. "So, you are the one!" Hya said. "What?" Stanley replied, confused. "You are the man driving the car that almost bumps me!" Stanley answered "That was before!" Hya nagged "So, you know that before! argh! How dare you?!" The two fell down. "If you will not stop, I'll kiss you!" Hya immediately stop. "Did I ever tell you how much I really love you?" Hya sways her head left to right. "Now, I'm letting you know. I love you Hya. I didn't tell you this before because I'm shy." Hya smiled and she kissed Stanley. Just a smack! The two remembered their friendship sign, the spoon and the fork. They kept it together in a cabinet. The two became lovers at the end and got married. They have 2 cute children. They lived happily ever after.
