Poetic Hideaway
And in my mind
I cannot find
A place to hide
Staring through endless walls
I hear you call
You're trying to rip me apart
And I try to pacify
To rhyme
To explain this depression I always seem to find
My poetry gets me out of all the misery
Pulls me out of this sick reality
Temporarily keeps my head in divinity
But what if my poetic mind
Starts to go blind
Then where will I hide
Forever lost to a world covered in lies

So I do the daft thing and spend on a shrink. But shrinks just sit and listen as you talk to yourself almost. So... I really should write more instead. » Reply to this comment... ![]() 03-26-2008 14:04, yup,,that sums me up too. » Reply to this comment... ![]() 03-26-2008 18:11, Then everyday'd be Christmas But what if my poetic mind Starts to go blind -But what if it doesn't? What if it catches moments in time and slows them down to tick within the mind at any speed yer wish? Poetic Highways have bumps, that's why there's an 'oh shit' handle. Juss hang on, or take another path. Aye believe when I say that if yer continue down the road which yer are on yer juss might end up where yer headed. Uh-oh yer mused me again. Yer like doin' that huh? Road Destruction While driving down poetic road I see a sign that reads Thought destruction up ahead But still my mind proceeds I try to shift creatively But as I'm changing gears A warning sign of pettiness Now suddenly appears Imagination's forced to stop Since there's no other lane Then my vision is obscured By salty falling rain I try to turn, but it's too late And as our thoughts collide I wonder why you can't shut up *not yer And just enjoy the ride I Like yer Poem » Reply to this comment... » See all 1 replie(s) ![]() 03-27-2008 11:20, ha well Anna i'm glad my poems muse you.
