Shallow Waves

While swimming deep within myself
Could channel an escape
Where I could play in active dreams
That took on any shape

My certainty was confident
If laughter sounded sure
That just a dose of pleasantries
Could remedy a cure

Though happiness felt relevant
And struggled for a smile
Still sad reserves of emptiness
Found loneliness worthwhile

And knew if made to surface swim
Upon a shallow wave
My hope would sink its certainties
To drown in sorrow's grave

Sad Sara, aren't you the writer of this poem?

are you really that nutty?

can I write a story about you?

lol

Another Poet on here wrote that comment usin' me name, he said he wanted to be like me, but I thought he meant in a Poetic sense, not in a personified one.

I'll send yer an application to fill out fer story writin' about me and put yer name on the waiting list with the other writers.

Or yer can send me yer resume via private message.

Oh, and I'm runnin' a special this week so fer ten bucks yer name could be bumped up two spots on the list, and fer twenty, yer'll move up five.

Take care,

'Anna
