Passing Terror

The ghosts I see do not say 'Boo'
When passing in the hall
Instead they speak of whispered fate
Through sadness they recall

The ones who do not notice me
Feel hopeless with regret
And even though they bring me down
I sense they are no threat

Lately they've been whispering
Much louder than before
But I discovered long ago
Their talk I should ignore

Many ghosts I cannot see
But feel upon my skin
As if they're searching for a way
To burrow deep within

And slumber is an opening
To terrorize my dreams
For they know that silence can’t
Deny their haunted screams

Yet regardless where I live
It seems I'm always found
By the dead who somehow know
I hear their every sound

First off let me say that the title of this one was cool. That isn't the word I'm looking for, though. I can't seem to find it in my head at the moment.

This was a great poem, 'Anna.

Keep well ... okay?
