The Last Minute

A minute can be gone in the blink of an eye or take an eternity to pass.

I'm sure you can all relate to some times when that has happened to you. Wait on a cold morning for a train and the platform clock slows to a crawl but sleep in that day and time will race away as you rush to catch that same train.

How can something so defined, structured and constant be changed so much by so many different things. Your mood, the situation and others around you are just some of the variables that seem to bend that strictest of the laws of physics.

Do you take the gift of time too easily? How much do you waste sitting around doing nothing? Do you spend this most precious of treasures wisely?

Do you sometimes wish it away, almost begging it to speed up so you can reach a certain point in time?

Do you think you can control time? Are you its Master or are you its slave?

If somehow you knew it would be gone in a week, would or could you try and slow it down or would it pull itself away from you?

Please think now of how would you look after the end of your time.

How long would that last minute be?

An idea for a story that is, maybe its been done. What if you could go back in time a minute , what could you do.You can have that one for free. I liked it, very true.Must waste hours on the net when I could be doing other important stuff.

time goes by too fast regardless for me...sitting on the puter of watching paint dry....seems like yesterday my child was a baby. Sad that life roars by so fast.

Certainly, it is sad that time flies the way it does. However, one must remember that we are the pilots. Moreover, if life didnt roar by so fast it wouldn't be such a crazy ride. So let's just enjoy it and try to keep the blinking to a minimum :)

A truth.

Yes even fact can sometimes be bent by how one perceives.

Time. I shall make the most of mine!

*Flies off with utter determination.

an extremely appropriate poem that reflects on the lives of most of us here in india who just love tallying their work to some other time. An eyeopener for every lazy person.

Wow, a great thinker. I've had tons of experiences with time and its speed, so I'm always thinking, how can I make the best of my time? I really liked this and I can relate to the poem so well. When it comes to my last minute of living, I'm not sure how fast it will go, it will probably be a very dreadful time consuming minute.
