The first time I ever spotted a cute fuzzy kitten I fell in love with their small delicate paws and their adorable squishy noses, but despite that their noses are wet and slimy. Ohhhhhhhh how I wished I can hold dozens or maybe millions of kittens. I was anemic to my mother and I had no choice to do what ever it takes to get what I want. Pleading my loving mother was the hard part and when a mother caves in you feel a little guilty, but your happiness over rules the feeling and burst into joy.

Driving down the street in the passengers’ seat was thrilling and exciting like I had complete control over the road. I was impatient that today was the day that I will adopt my very own kitten and hold it in my two hands. Before my mother parked the car I was already unbuckling my seat belt and jumping out of the car. I ran towards the cat area while my mother ran after me in an unpleasant look on her face. With a lecture of taking care of the kitten and agreeing to the terms I now had the choice of the perfect kitten. There was small, large, fuzzy, and there was even bald cats to be sold, but I was picky. None of these cats were worthy to be chosen from me or to be living under the same roof I was. It had to be small, short haired (not too short), and gentle to be called my own. I was threw looking at all of the many different cats and was unpleased with what I saw. My dream crushed just like that and a small wet tear drop dropped from my eye. I then wiped the tear drop from my cheek and anger filled my heart. I couldn't take a cat home with me, so I looked threw all the cats until they gave me the perfect cat to take home. My mother had to carry me to the red shinny mini van and force me to the back with a seat belt fully tightened.

We finally arrived at home empty handed and sad with the moment that just happened a few minutes ago. I calmed down to realize just below my shin there was a grey kitten purring on our porch. I examined the kitten closely and was the perfect kitten to ever appear this close. I quickly picked her up and hugged her till I had to show my mom. We both knew she was a stray cat, so we took her to the veterinarian to be inspected more closely. She came back clean meaning she was officially mine. Next I needed supplies to pamper her, so we went to the nearest pet store. There were play toys, rich food, grooming equipment, and treats to get for the special new member in the family. The last thing to get was her vary own collar with a name tag. That means I have to name her with a meaningful name. I got down to three names which were: Mittens, Charm, or Spunky. With the few minutes I spent with her I though she was charming, Hipper or spunky and it looked like she was wearing mittens on her paws. Towards the end of the day I decided to call her Charm because she was the most charming and polite to me and me only.

Good description of a cute kitty in the beginning :)

I feel like this story is not finished...maybe you could add something about your relationship with this cat? It would be interesting to develop how it reacted to its new home, etc...
