*Author's note*: i know this poem is rough in places, but i just wanted to get a point across..................
I'm sick of this fake reality, this sugar coated dream, where everyone, is different than who they seem,
They put on, a false front , trying to be, something they're not,
With plastic smiles, and the same dyed hair, no one can think on their own, they're too worried about what to wear,
Political leaders, who don't give a damn, pretending they care, but it's all just a scam,
All that they want, is to be the one on top, telling us they're the best, and that our troubles will stop,
Trying to brainwash, todays youth, to think like they think , and do what they do,
Everyone seems, to go with the crowd, because being different, isn't accepted nor allowed,
Slowly but surely, they are taking all of our freedoms away, it will continue until, the entire constitution decays,
No one thinks of others, and always puts themselves first, the state of america, is almost at its worst,
But of course, no one accepts responsibility, they want to put the fault on others , and do it with much hostility,
So we are digging our country, into a deep dark grave, soon it will be irreversible, it will be to late Copyright 2008 b.k. |
