Peaceful Apparitions

Shapes intertwine in the air

I, a clueless citizen look at them blank in stare

It seems they are human just like me

But they seem different, like they have been set free

They are seamless as they drift into the sky

I just hope I look as peaceful when I die

Like birds that fly in search of a warmer climate

These souls float away into inevitable quiet
