Relief From the Cold

The orange glow from the sun has descended never coming back

The sky now only a fateful black

This white snow heavily begins to fall

In this white out I can see nothing at all

For there is nowhere left to go

Soon I will be just a frozen block in the snow

All of my friends have gone away

But in the snow they will forever stay

My eyes keep a hopeful stare

They hypothermia growing in my veins I cannot repair

Once it sets in, it's there to remain

Taking my life, making me sane

Ice is the therapy I need

Curing my head, leaving no more reasons to bleed

I'd rather die freezing to death than in the sweltering heat of the desert sun.

Yeah...

Very clever Cody, yer metaphored yerself write out of the white out, bleeding the pen to poetically pen the pain pinning you in.

I swear I'm not tryin' to rhyme. lol

Anyway, tour de force with creativity Sorrowful One.

I love it.

Take care,

'Anna
